Students will be reminded to complete a develop their own idea for a PhotoMontage.  This will be a second journal entry (graded).  http://www.yosoyartista.net  http://bit.ly/w1RQsE

Students will gather their materials needed and begin using the software to create their own PhotoMontage.

Students will take this week to complete their Photo Montage.

Students will be completing their PhotoMontages. (Monday~Tuesday)

Students will present their PhotoMontage to the class. (Monday~Wednesday)

Students will experience an overview of digital sound and MIDI. (Wednesday~Friday) Origins of sound

Making "sound" descisions

Found Sound, Music Concrete, Electronic Music, Electro-Acoustic Music

Music as an element of performance

Mobile Music

Students will listen to some element of sound (either on the website, or anywhere on the Internet) and complete a journay entry (graded) to respond to a "Sound Piece" in the Community section of http://www.yosoyartista.net here: http://bit.ly/w1RQsE

Late in the week, students wil share their "Sound Piece" journal entry with class.

Students will begin creating an original sound piece.  This will continue into the following week. 

 

 

 

February 25 ~ 28

Students will continue creating an original sound piece.  

Students will be reminded of the two jorunal entries: Sound response to someone elses sound piece http://bit.ly/w1RQsE, and Sound Idea - an entry explaining what you want to your project to look like http://bit.ly/w1RQsE. 

Through formative assesment strategies, we will determine when these pieces will be completed.  I a student asked me today, I would tell them that the sound design piece will be completed on Friday
