Curating the Internet

We will search the Internet for artists, galleries, museums, research resources, web art sites and arts organizations in order to create arts resource pages for our department web site. These can form a foundation for a variety of web related projects.

Search tools AltaVista - web and newsgroup search engine. Yahoo-site directory HotBot-search engine Lycos - develops and provides online guides to locate and filter information on the Internet. Products enable users to accurately identify and select information of interest to them.

Web Spotlight http://artsedge.kennedy-center.org/ws.html contains an annotated catalog of World Wide Web sites of interest to the arts education community. Create pages We will use page creation software to list, annotate and link to sites of interest.
