REPORTING STUDENT PROGRESS

This template is designed as a tool for reporting art students' progress at the completion of a school year.  The template is general in scope to encourage an evolution of the report format. The design is for an individual student. The template can be adapted, however, to interpret for one class or as a  total report for all your classes. This template is one of many ways to report on your students and should be used in conjunction with other forms of reporting such as performance to bolster an understanding and appreciation of the arts. Standard 9.1.j/k. is used as a focus of this template.

Reflections: The art teachers who helped create this page felt that this report format template would enable teachers of the visual arts to have a list of criteria by which to evaluate the use of traditional and contemporary technologies in the classroom.  This template could also be used as a method of demonstrating accountability to parents of students, the school and the community. It is also hoped that this format could be used for Professional Development.
