Art Ware
DESCRIPTION

http://www.west.net/~4world/index.htm  This site contains many images that are digital, holographic,
as well as traditional water color and acrylic to mention a few. There is a virtual reality
component which is under construction and a stereographic image to amaze the eye. You can find
a large gallery of traditional (acrylic, watercolors, etc) as well as holographic images,
digital and laser images, too. There are morphing and animation abilities built-into this site
as well. Within the site, actually on the Table of Contents, there are links to other sites,
that is urls and vrmls.

IMPLICATIONS

This site could act as a motivational device for many art projects. It certainly could be used
to analyze or critique. The gallery contains both traditional and new technology images. Since there
is a dimensional quality to the work, it could spur students to study, learn and attempt such
images within their own art work. (This site could work to K-12 )

Busy Teacher:  Art
DESCRIPTION

http://www.ceismc.gatech.edu/busyt/art.html   This site is a treasure house.
With this particular site there are any number of "teacher" savers.
Want a list of exhibitions and collections, here it is, and it is
hot linked. So hit the text and you are touring the exhibit, or you are
viewing the collection. There is an explanation for Polaroid SX-70
manipulation. Although this site lends itself to the more traditional art
form there are links that are invaluable.

IMPLICATIONS

Using this site allows you to access many museums from one site and
transfer information via the hotlinks. You can even receive free
updates via e-mail of upcoming events or new sites. There is also
a way to be heard. You can send your comments, questions or suggestions
to the author right at the site.
