The Governor's School is quite an amazing place! The energy and dedication of both faculty and students is inspiring. The atmosphere at the school is positive and enriching. Here, students are encouraged to enroll in classes that they've never had before. This picture is a computer graphics class where students help each other, under the supervision of a teacher. Our first encounter was a first time pottery student. Her instructor's method appeared to be one of an initially demonstrating throwing techniques then allowing her to find her way on her own. This allowed the student to get comfortable with the wheel, clay, and her own body movements. to page 2
