Personal Preparation Tibetan monks chant together before the creation of their mandala (sand painting) at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. The monks form the same shape, create the same pitch in their voices, and wear the same clothing. These people are making connections individually and to each other and in the process, ready the space.
