The Pennsylvania Governor's Institute For Arts
Educators recently conducted research surrounding
the fine arts of Tibet. The educators attended a
concert held at Mercyhurst College on July 15,
1998, featuring the Drepuling Loseling Monastery
Monks.This performance was a combination of music,
dance and displays of Buddhist prayers and
principles. The monks were costumed in elaborate
and colorful clothing appropriate to each selection
performed. An array of authentic wind and
percussion instruments were played
