The Walk

Confident and poised, she walks down the street.

She patiently tolerates the screaming kids.

Wild antics,

               Wondering.

Asking questions.

In her mind are jumbled ideas.

She stays calm,

    secluded.

She is a mystery,

    waiting to be solved.

A book,

    longing to be read.

While other pages anxiously leap,
