My thoughts on my music pieces...

I can't exactly INCLUDE the music pieces here, since this is being typed from home. anyway... not exactly a pitch as more reflections, since I couldn't exactly find THAT tab down there.

But anyway, my thoughts on my two pieces? I might as well start with the first one, which I shall dub "Solemn sonet" (yes, generic, I know...)
SS was the first music piece I made, and I generally just went for anything using the sample pieces provided within garageband. At first I just went with the cuban gutairs, to see how they sounded, and after liking that instrument, I took the chiptunes and created a little piece with them. After that, I pretty much just juggled secondary instruments until I hit the argentinian tango piano. (which is kinda clashing with the cuban gutair, culturally speaking, but not to the ears. XD) While they were "tango" piano pieces, I somehow managed to create an active-yet somber atmosphere by combining them with said gutairs. Overall, I'm quite proud of the pieice, even if I definitley feel like there's room for improvement.

Because of my expertiese with SS, I generally just dinked around in garageband looking for another feel, something a bit more cheery than the last one, while managing to hit a similar tone of active-ness. Again, I wanted to work with just the default instruments. Eventually, I decided that nothing could be more cheery than steel drums, which naturally gave my piece a beach theme. Just like SS, I forget exactly what was going through my mind, but I eventually got to the piece that I dub "Island rythym" and yes, spelling errors are intentional, since the piece itself is flawed in quite a couple of ways, but it's still a nice thing to listen to when I want to mellow out.

Anyway, my overall thoughts? not that bad of a unit, definitley made me want to try my hand at some more music stuff in the future, as I found it a lot funner than the photoshop unit.
