Spoken word music is often always dependant on the lyrical content, and the meaning behind it. I heard this song a while ago while I was going through a rough time, and I really connected with the lyrics. My favorite lyric ever is from this song: "but drinking cough syrup when you didn't have a cough is ironic, because in reality you're sicker than you thought."
