Wolf Eyes is a band that produces unforgivingly brutal noise music. Its is an extremely difficult listen and isn't exactly meant to be listened to in a casual way. Its is meant to be disturbing and almost unlistenable. The group aims to create a horrific atmosphere using distortion and samples of common everyday sounds, and not so common sounds. The music critic Anthony Fantano said it the best out of anyone,

"It felt like the sonic equivalent to watching a really sick, twisted gore movie. I know that doesn't sound like a good thing, but that's kind of the point of this music. It's not to be good; it's to be unsettling and disturbing."

 They definitely accomplish this goal. I find Wolf Eyes (and all noise music) so interesting because it shows an entire different side of music. Noise aims to be unlistenable, and it is almost inspiring because it pushes the boundary of what is music and what can be made to make music.
