| Notes: For this composition i really focused on the piano part with the repeating three notes. It was a sound that i really liked and built a melody around this harmony and the tree note pattern is present throughout the piece.The Melody is a fairly simple scale like progression that goes down. It is made unique by the different instruments i used in the composition. I felt the different guitars would give the piece a unique character. I wanted to express a feeling of sorrow throughout the piece. In the b section i focused on building a chord progression going up to bring out a sense of tension and drama. I used drums to keep the beat stable. |
