It

 It

This little boy plants this tiny seed

Day by Day it starts to grow,

It starts to bloom, vibrantly through the years,

through rain and snow, it remains strong

The boy now a man waters it everyday

But it starts to grow older, it

like all things become weak

years go by it begins to sag towards the ground

the pedals darkening like the gray stormy sky

with life no more,

the man pulls it
