I personally loved this podcast because it showed the amount of songs that were inspired by one of the best forms of music.  A few things that were inspired by classical music was definitely Star Wars with Holst's Planets, Korngold's Kings Row soundtrack, and Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.  I also notice many similarities with Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion's "The Prayer" and the Rach 2 Third movement(symphony).  I was very relieved that some of the most popular songs have been inspired by some of the most EPIC works of Classical Music.

It is very comforting to know that the influence of classical music is still as strong and comprehensive as ever. It goes to show you that classical music and rock/pop tunes pack a similar emotional punch. I have found that Elvis takes a lot of inspiration from classical music.

I think this is cool beacuse it goes back to the idea of "stealing" other songs or melodies. Some of the best songs come from a starting point of another song
