Jazz Composition

I am taking a dirty Miles Davis approach.  Its real random in the beginning, giving it a slow ominous feel.  Then slowly building some nice sax or brass playing.  I want the surrounding to turn into an underground hipster club where everyone is just chilling. I am using a Bb blues scale as my basis for everything.  So far I have my intro the way I want it (consisting of a bass, piano, and drum kit) and have my brush kit all geared up and ready to go for the main chunk of the piece.  I am probably going to record myself and martin on this piece.  Not sure who, but there will most likely be live recorded playing.
