Meditation #24 |
| Notes: I wrote this piece in my A.P. Music class and I spent several weeks trying to perfect it. My influences for this piece were Beck's "Nobody's Fault Buy My Own" and George Harrison's Beatles song, "Within You Without You." Both songs include sitar and strings. In case you were wondering, I wrote a piece called Meditation #23 last year. I like the number 23 and decided to write a sequel to the previous piece. Please enjoy. |

| Notes: I wrote this composition over the course of about four weeks in A.P. Music. A friend gave me the prompt and I followed it strictly while trying to incorporate the sounds of The Rolling Stones and the Doors. "A Dark Knight," the closing suite from The Dark Knight, composed by James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer, also heavily influenced me. Please enjoy and feel free to comment. Thanks, Mance |
