Notes: My first composition: I used Finale; the rhythm in the A part should be a lot more liberal and up to the artists' judgment. However, the B part should be rhythmically accurate.
Notes: Charlie Chaplin represents a pinnacle in the American film industry. This music captures emotions of terror, cleverness, and shallow love through an early 20th century classical approach.
Notes: This is my interpretation of a traditional Romantic-styled overture. I also gave it the title of a Polonaise as it does reflect the luxurious style of Chopin and his contemporaries.
Notes: This is a piece modeled after the folk music of the Naxi Tribe in Lijiang, China. Their culture and music ties in with the beauty of nature. Naxi music is known for its powerful yet simple choral parts.
Notes: This is my first experimentation with early jazz music. Utilizing symphonic instruments, I created a unique blend of 20th Century classical music and ragtime.
