What you do with it is entirely up to you.

¡Yo Soy Katherine !

This is who I am. I have 8 submissions.

This is my Portfolio.

Nocturne in Db Major
Notes: My first composition: I used Finale; the rhythm in the A part should be a lot more liberal and up to the artists' judgment. However, the B part should be rhythmically accurate.
  Format: audio
Along the Yangzi
Notes: My folksong: my inspiration came from the Yangzi River itself. It symbolizes one's travels along the river and throughout China.
  Format: audio
Charlie Chaplin in the Lion's Cage
Notes: Charlie Chaplin represents a pinnacle in the American film industry. This music captures emotions of terror, cleverness, and shallow love through an early 20th century classical approach.
  Format: quicktime
Tranquility
Notes:

This is my take on New Age music. The strings and bells create the calming effect that is the epitome of this 20th Century vibe.

  Format: audio
Grande Polonaise in Bb Major: Overture
Notes: This is my interpretation of a traditional Romantic-styled overture. I also gave it the title of a Polonaise as it does reflect the luxurious style of Chopin and his contemporaries.
  Format: audio
Naxi Tribe Folk Song
Notes: This is a piece modeled after the folk music of the Naxi Tribe in Lijiang, China. Their culture and music ties in with the beauty of nature. Naxi music is known for its powerful yet simple choral parts.
  Format: audio
Lackadaisical
Notes: This is my first experimentation with early jazz music. Utilizing symphonic instruments, I created a unique blend of 20th Century classical music and ragtime.
  Format: audio
Along the Yangzi Visual
Notes: I just had to add visual representation to my folk piece. Thanks to my father for some of the pictures!
  Format: quicktime
